Drug related charges for man who ran across Interstate into on-coming traffic

On June 27, 2021, approximately 6:54 p.m., Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Sellers was southbound on I65, near the 72-mile marker, when he observed a male subject run across the Interstate in front of on-coming traffic.

K9 Jari was deployed and located a capped syringe that is believed to belong to Sample.

Obstruction of justice

He remains in BCJ in lieu of $68,500 bond.

All persons are considered innocent unless/until proven guilty in a court of law.
