The Greensburg Redevelopment Commission met on Thursday.
City Engineer Ron May discussed the RDC property marketing program. Last month they signed an agreement with Lee and Associates. So far there has been no fresh news, as the are still in the preplanning phase. There was an update on the Residential Development Project. As of 7/5/23 the developer has discontinued their participation in the project. There is a working group who will work on what the next steps are to continue the project. There was a recommendation that there be an executive session held in order to have an in-depth discussion on this. There was an update on the Multi-Use Path Over State Road 3 and on Broadway Street, Veterans Way to State Road 3. They sat down with their consultants at American Structurepoint to discuss the scope of each project. They plan to hold another meeting in August where a draft of the project will be presented.
