Honda Indiana Auto Plant Marks 3-Million Production Milestone
GREENSBURG, Ind. – The Honda Indiana Auto Plant (IAP) just marked a significant
production milestone with production of its 3 millionth vehicle, since Honda began auto production in
Indiana in 2008. IAP produces the Honda CR-V and CR-V hybrid, the Civic Hatchback and soon will begin
production of the new Civic Hatchback hybrid.
“This three-million-unit milestone is a testament to the passion and skill of our 2,600 Indiana associates
who produce the award-winning Honda Civic Hatchback, CR-V and CR-V hybrid,” said Roxanna Metz, IAP
plant lead. “Since starting production in 2008, our team in Indiana has been committed to producing
high-quality products for our customers, and we are excited for the upcoming launch of the all-new Civic
Hatchback hybrid.”
