On Thursday night, the North Decatur JV Girls held a 5-2 lead for the first quarter of a two quarter game against South Dearborn thanks to a three from Alle Gray and a 2 from LaShay Dwiggins. In the second quarter, South Dearborn hit 5 free throws and 3 shots from the field to outscore the Chargers 11-6, bringing the final score to a 13-11 Charger loss. The Chargers are now 0-5 on the year.

The North Decatur Chargers JV team hosted the South Decatur Cougars Saturday night in a two quarter game. The Chargers were down 5-3 after the first quarter, with a free throw from Allee Gray and a layup from Kieran Lusk. In the second quarter, the Cougars went up 9-5 early, but the Chargers fought back, retaking the lead late in the game. The Chargers were able to hold on to the two point lead to get their first win of the season. Norah Amberger led with 4 points, Macie Leake had 3 points, and Kieran Lusk finished with 2 points. Allee Gray, Grace Nobbe, and LaShay Dwiggins finished with 1 point each. The Charger are now 1-5 on the season and will play again Saturday, 11/29 at home against the Knightstown Panthers.
